Oh sweet delirium -
 So drenched in burning lithium
 This sickness seems to never ease -
 In the waking state we drift within
 ...and we just fall
 Deeper
 Into
 The twisting sands of thought
 We are deceived -
 By the mirage our minds create
 Fowl is the taste -
 Of thought upon the thinkers tongue
 What's the reprieve? A stillness I can't find?
 O full of scorpions is my mind
 If I just close my eyes
 Let Hypnos hold my mind
 Will sleep erode the blue inside?
 Deeper into the well of dreams I -
 Sink
 Desert of dreaming -
 Show me that which I seek
 An oasis where I'm simply free

 With flying thoughts?
