My Gift

Once somebody said to me:
 Hey! Do you have dreams?
 And I said: Yeah! And he said:
 Oh right! and how you gonna reach them?
 And I said: I don't know.
 Don't you have some idea?
 He said. And I said: No idea.
 I just know I have dreams,
 But I have not idea how to reach them.
 Then he said: It's very hard to reach them.
 You know it's so so complicated.
 But beside all complication to reach them
 You can reach them.
 Because you have a gift. Everybody has a gift.
 So if you want to reach your dreams,
 You have to use your gifts to reach them.
 I learned to share my gifts
 In order to be accepted.
 But, the only thing I got was
 Whims and complaints
 From those to whom I gave.
 And it will never happen again.
 I know now how I have to be
 When someone comes to me.
 To ask for my time and my dreams.
 I know now how I have to be
 When someone comes to me
 And said, he needs of my gift.
 The phone is calling for me.
 They said I should hurry up.
 Time doesn't like to wait for one.
 Who cares about it?
 Who cares about me?
 It's only up to me.
 If I want to live
 A life with joy and simplicity.
 My choices, it will bring
 What comes with it?
 It's always up to me.
 I know now how I have to be
 When someone comes to me.
 To ask for my time and my dreams.
