Misterioso

taking your hand,
 i reach for the distance,
 heading for the place
 that only our hearts know.
 misterioso, i soar into the air.
 like in a dream
 this star had,
 the sky shines.
 an echo that's abandoned its yearning
 calls out at a distance.
 sadness is made to linger (in blue)
 as it hurries towards a future with no path.
