The Croc Needs a Doc

Oh the king of the crocodiles was dying
 And he thought that it was far too soon
 But the witchdoctor said Oh I can save you
 If you get me the heart of a baboon
 So the prince of the crocodiles swam downstream
 To a place where on the bank there grew a tree
 And he knew for many times he'd seen them
 That's where the big baboons would be

 So he called from the river do you hear me
 I'm talking to you baboons in the tree
 Would any of you like to come a sailing
 You can ride on my back and it's for free
 So the leader of the pack said How exciting
 I'd really love to have a little ride
 So he hopped onto the croc and he said
 Take me sailing to the other side

 When croc got to the middle of the river
 He said Ah I have caught you very well
 For the king of the crocodiles is dying
 And he needs your heart to break the spell
 But the big baboon said sorry I can't help you
 For I've left my heart upon yon tree
 Take me back to the bank so I can fetch it
 I'll be as quick as I can be

 So the croc fell for his little story
 And he took the baboon back to the bank
 And he watched as the big baboon was climbing
 But he didn't realize it was a prank
 Then the croc said hurry up don't keep me waiting
 The baboon said you forgot the golden rule
 Just because somebody looks quite funny
 You shouldn't ever take them for a fool
