Living in a Dream

I fell asleep and when I woke up I was living in a dream
 I heard a voice calling but I could barely see
 Could not distinguish this life from my reality
 I reached out my hand to see what it would bring for me
 Just like the night sky stars shining bright
 sun moon set rise and they passing by
 I can see the shadows of the trees swaying in the wind
 like the branch from this tree right down to the
 leaves bark and the roots foundation underneath
 cause our foundation yea we started from the sea
 but what if you could fly what if you could swim
 choose your own path bring it up from within
 this is the calling of a lifetime now see the sign
 signs turn to blurs lights and the curves
 mesmerize my eyes come and brace it for the next turn
 what will we find in the universe

 Now feel the breeze blow through the window
 winds carry sounds develop into echoes
 traveling through the space of this temple
 look what we've built with our hands carved out from lands created to be dwellings for us to lay our heads
 only time will tell and show us the evidence
 what if every star was a sign for someone below help them to grow
 nurturing and furthering our souls so they can go
 the world up above could be reflections of us
 revealing and concealing all the past and paths we've took
 I think I'll slow down take another look
