My Leading Command

Lying bare on an altar of stone, gazing out to behold
 A sanctum covered in regalia and gowns, black lillies, candles and crowns
 Before me enters a fiendish form, his presence infuses awe
 His shade bears a reminiscent way, and the chills go down my spine
 So many years since I departed my roots to stop residing in doom
 and seek the vengeance for my feeble kin just to unearth my part in it too
 It has braced my mortal powers, brought me an angel's wit
 empowered by the council of Deadlands they summoned me to hell
 I'm draped in my unhallowed gown to embark in this unhallowed land
 This fiend is slowly examining me
 "The angelic powers that embrace your aura, a prophet were you for them all"
 He turns and indicates for me to pursue
 As I shadow this astonishing creature my thoughts fumble in gloom
 whereas my memories fail to emit they could split my heart in two
 but I've been stripped of weak compassion. I've got no hold of time
 How long have I been here, draped in this gown? With my reincarnated soul...
 My past, all gone, before me lies my home
 As I adapt to my surroundings I hear, "Greetings my heir, anew!"
 As he turns I see a face and a brute that my memory has failed to undo!!
 Severely scarred from my belongings, from when he downed my soul...
 "You, scion, descending my blood, about time the truth is told..."
 "I bartered with darkness, and I betrayed our kin
 Swore an oath for your leading command of our reign
 For thousand years and thousand more we've longed for you my progeny
 To crown you as emperor, as sovereign, as king!"
 Why? I'm sworn to oust all light? What in the nine hells have I now become?
 I am the archangel brought from the light, to carry the command out, I'm a demon, a devil, a fiend...
