I saw your smile in a little child's face
 Even though you've been gone for so long
 Writing words on the paper as I sing along
 It isn't really fair that you're gone
 Sometimes I cry when I'm lonely I cry cause you're not here
 It's been so long it feels just like a million years

 Used to make my school lunch take me out the lane

 I fear has gone away I know that dad would listen
 I just find it hard to say he seems so far away now
 From the way he used to be
 I guess that's true of everyone it's even happening to me
