Wooden Box

I found a wooden box
 That my mother left behind
 Filled with all the words
 She would never have the time
 My father closed his eyes
 Well laying down to sleep
 To rest his broken soul
 To trap his mind for free
 My arms requested love
 To be held in his thoughts
 To stop the naked heartache
 To make the heartache stop
 I can quietly continue
 Or scream until I cry

 Nor either want to die
 She begged me for my help

 I didn't see her dead

 With beads inside her hands
 Tears rusted up her heart
