Wake, shower and get dressed
 Clean up the empties from last night
 If I quit smoking cigarettes
 I'd never go outside
 And god I miss my friends
 And I hope that they miss me
 I miss all the cities
 I miss the spaces in-between
 I know we don't talk often
 That's how I'll always be
 But just wait through the winter
 And I'll be back, you'll see
 And I can swear I've changed
 Swear I'll stay this time
 But if I stayed in one place
 Well I think that I might die
 So can we
 Revel in a misery
 Commiserate and fall asleep
 When we wake up tomorrow
 Pretend that we didn't talk last night
 Think that we've been broken down enough
 We've learned to pick ourselves back up
 We've been broken too much
 To keep putting up a fight
 And it will get much worse
 Before we get what we deserve
 If you wait for things to get better
 You'll be waiting for forever
