Moving

I never thought I'd leave this place
 It has all kinds of storage space
 But now I'm headed out of town
 And in my mind I'm already gone
 I know you thought we'd have to wait
 But there's no need to hesitate
 I'll correspond a couple times a year
 But you will have to concentrate
 When I load up that moving truck
 Will you drop by and wish me luck
 When the sadness finally subsides
 Will you go back to staying inside
 I won't leave you now
 I rarely saw you anyhow
 Why not pick up the telephone
 And call me when I'm never home
