Blue Water

I took a walk down beside the blue water
 Sunlight was dancing across the sparkling sea
 All my worries fell away, I let them go with yesterday
 Now I'm feeling free again and that's alright with me
 Change was knocking at my door, calling me outside
 All the pressures building up would not let me be
 Pushing me and pulling me, me to the nth degree
 Now I'm feeling good again and that's alright with me
 Sometimes you have to lose yourself to get yourself aligned
 The world goes on when I get off
 Need to let myself unwind
 Gonna' lie in the sand and let the waves wash over me
 Gonna' sip a cool drink and it won't be iced tea
 The little girl in me just wants to have fun
