God Is Good

A thousand times a heard it has a shout of praise three little words
 sung with joy and someone so amazed but every now and then i hear it
 from a broken heart of faith spoken
 with the whispers as tears are wiped away.
 and it steals my breath to hear them say God is good God is good,
 when life doesnt go like we wish it would he always be what hes
 always been and that is understood and always always God is good
 standing in the darkness tho fear is what they feel they testified to
 faith that is settled and its real cause when calm turns into chaos
 he is stronger then the pain when you know your held by a God who
 doesnt change and the simple truth it still remains God is good when
 life doesnt go like we wish it would he'll always be what he has
