When the Storm Came

Shelter, cover me that I will not be found,
 I knelt there watched my brother freeze, I watched my children drown,
 Surround me in your loving arms and keep me in your prayers,
 I used to pray to Jesus, I knew Jesus didn't care
 Brick by hopeless brick I built this fortress all around me,
 Six feet long and two feet wide so no one could have found me,
 And in each brick a message saying "thou shall't never pass",
