God's Word, My Guide

When disappointments of my life surround
 And cause my heart to fear what lies before
 Within God's Word my trembling spirit hides
 I learn to trust His wisdom more and more
 God's Word, my guide, my leadership within
 Ordain my steps to follow in Your way
 Return me once again to walk by faith
 And rest within Your truth from day to day
