Well it's hotter than hell down here in Oklahoma
 I guess that I might as well get used to it and stop my moaning 'cause the devil is alive and well and has found himself a new home
 Well it's burning the weat and drinking up on the water do a rain dance lay a lamb at the alter I guess we're all gonna drown in the dry if it gets any hotter
 I was leavng Oklahoma had to make me some new friends because the devil he cooked all the books and he burned all the blue prints
 Well he ran for office and he won now we got ourselves a new prince
 Now I'm stuck at the border I ain't on their checklist
 They said we on't like you Oakies down here you're a little to reckless
 Now Oaklahomas hotter than hell but it's better than Texas
