I'm keeping my mind open to the possibilities of today
 Not trying to look back or into the future, I am living in this present state
 So familiar are the pressures that forever I've been tethered, I try to untangle them everyday
 Some live and they learn, others crash and burn, I think I fall somewhere in-between
 This is a war, and it's - starting to get ugly, here on the front lines
 No, there was nothing that ever could have prepared me for these bloody attacks of the worst kind
 So the attention, but purely of my own invention and to wait it, I know it's gonna take some time
 I've come to accept that no one is exempt, it's life or death when I wanna be alive
 Yeah, I have been burned, but I am not discouraged, I'm just waiting for fate's arrival
 Every time that I fail and with every mistake, I learn a little more about survival
