A New Deadly Disease

You switch on your tv screen
 You see images like which you've never seen
 But you just don't see the impact, no
 It's much like a dream
 So, you carry on
 But then, all of a sudden, you must keep your distance
 From the ones you know and love, yeah, it feels so obscene
 We've got no certainty about what is gunna happen anymore
 And I say it now
 What are we gunna now as this place is falling apart?
 We're stuck in the middle of something that no one fully understands
 And so, what are we gunna do?
 A new deadly disease
 The worst pandemic of our lifetime

 We will never forget COVID19
 So we're confined to our homes
 We wear facemasks to protect and many are furloughed
 Most shops are closed, so thanks for the internet and home delivery
 And while we remain indoors
 The death rate starts to reduce but we're not there yet
 We may never go back to how it was before
 We've got no certainty about what is gunna happen anymore
 And I say it now
