Some rainy day surprised L.A
 One raindrop fell, all driving skill went to hell
 They couldn't cell phone away
 She had to stop looking for a breakfast spot
 In West Hollywood the best she could get was Holloway's IHOP
 And when the waitress brought the coffee
 Pot she was so lost in thought
 She just stared out of the window wondering what it would cost

 Deserve the scenery of Barney's Beanery and the sound of a grill?
 And don't she feel so international
 With her five kinds of syrup
 She sees her pancake's happy face and she starts to tear up
