Creepy New World

I woke up and noticed that everything was new
 All the birds had disappeared and left no clue
 The day was so quiet and so still
 Where there were trees before, they built large buildings
 Nature is dead, people have no feelings
 All this only gives me chills
 I can't believe it
 The world I knew, exists no more
 Now all is different
 And we can only hope for better times
 Everything changes all the time, we know
 And things will never be the way they were before
 I used to be so strong, but now I'm too weak to survive
 I'm afraid to face this creepy new world
 The ocean and the sky are no longer blue
 The damage that is done seems impossible to undo
 It's so hard to understand
 The air we breathe is full of pollution
 The planet is doomed, there is no solution
 We are getting closer to the end
 I can't believe it
 The world I knew, exists no more
