I never thought i could feel so abject and low, listless and slow
 That's how it is- a common heartbreak for other people I've known
 When you're thrown from a place so high
 you hit hard to the ground with a sound that really tells
 Now I know what it is to be truly alone

 It really blows when you've got noone to talk to in a room full of friends who really care
 and the ONE you could talk to wants nothing to do with you

 So many things remind me of times that were good in a place that stood fast in Forever
 So many things are tagged with the smell of the other
 Once denial has left and you turn yourself round to face the ruins that burn deep
 it's a shame that what's left is to slowly forget
 until your last breath
