Arrival

Silently they came,
 Only the oars did we hear,
 Their boats crepted upon the waves,
 And they had many souls to save,
 We ride the symbols of the past,
 Adhere to codes that held firm,
 Until today,
 In junctures such as this, take heart and carry on,
 I can see the starless night, today I'm born,
 Only my body will be quit of this place,
 Immortality comes to me in its truest form,
 It was a gift this knowledge that I gained,
