Little Old Paint Horse

I ride a little old paint horse she carries me on my way
 She sure a foot in sturdy wild is the rain
 All the cattle they are lowing as I'm singing them to sleep
 And the stars are like a blanket God hung over me
 My love is like an oak tree she's strong and tall
 And she holds me in her branches when I can't stand at all
 And I love her like a Prairiefield like I can't see the end
 And I'd walk on forever I'd walk until I'm dead
 Those mountain dogs they are calling me from on high
 They're looking for a kill and there's violence on the rise
 They lo me to sleep like my mama sitting by my bed when I was
 Maybe 5 years old
 Storms in my head
