 We don't need no more in Babylon
 As Britain she stood with her back up against wall
 The sons of old India came and would battle and fall.
 In there thousands they went off to fight
 for duty they offered their lives
 And many would never survive
 like a mill grinding corn

 They suffered the pain, mental strain
 As bombs fall like the monsoon rain
 As brothers they stood side by side
 A thin brown line sent to stem up the tide

 In this time of the islamophobe
 It's a half that'a seldom is told
 With the death in the mud and cold
 They showed bravery, were steadfast and bold
 Fighting for Europe to be free
