Iris

In a city by the sea with mermaids, castles and the queen herself, waiting or the spring
 and what it could bring along. Everything was light and clear: an April sun in April sky,
 and someone with immense amounts of love inside
 Iris the first flower of spring
 She was a bird, she was the wind
 Like a real angel but without wings
 I could have held her in my palms
 'cause she was the tiniest of them all
 But her heart would grow much greater than mine
 Stars were sent to guard the little one now making sounds with her small lungs. If only
