Monday's a bastard, Tuesday's a curse
 Wednesday's eternal, Thursday is worse
 Come Friday night I'm out on the town
 Out with Maria to drink a few down
 I drink one, two, three, for all that I'm worth
 I drink like tonight is the last night on earth
 I wake up the next day, pain in my head
 I look at Maria and here's what she said

 You got one more chance then I'm walking out your door."
 Some things don't change, some stay the same
 Monday to Friday is a hell of a game
 Come friday night, well, who can resist
 A night on the town, a night on the piss

 If I get home late, I know she'll understand
