Nightmare--
 I can't go anywhere
 And though I try to attack

 High-bling, violent culture."
 This is a Nightmare/It makes me want to attack
 I cannot go anywhere/My dream is holding me back

 You don't care
 You won't hear me out you just doubt
 You never understood me
 I told you I'm glad that we're through but I still do sound bitter
 I can't help but retaliate with some pathetic putdown
 And the faster I try to run from it I'm just treading water
 I will wake up safe in my bed
 But my Nightmare's not over
 I can't go anywhere
 This is a Nightmare/It makes me want to attack
 I cannot go anywhere/My dream is holding me back
 I self-sabotage, like in dream,
 It's always self-assigned
 You agree we need to break-up
 We're fighting all the time now (and I'm scared)
 Some is real and some is not real
 It's always hard to tell (and I'm scared)
 I'd weigh all the pros and the cons
 But it's impossible (and I'm scared)
 I insult my intelligence,
 I feel the need to keep talking (and I'm scared)
 My judgment is impaired again
 I need to keep on walking (and I'm scared)
 "Keep coming back to the home base."
 Did I do that right?
 Did I get it done?
 Did you understand?
 Did I come undone?
 Am I in control
 Or should I let go?
 Did I choose correctly?
 Did it warrant anger?
 Do I look okay?
 Did I stand the test?
 What are others thinking?
 Am I too obsessed?

 This is a Nightmare/It makes me want to attack

 Your finger is on the trigger of a proverbial gun
 I don't want to spoil the fun but what you're doing is wrong

 Fashion is not important
 People are more important
 You're lifestyle's insane
 It should be the other way
 Status is not important
 We all are more important
 I just wanna rain on your parade
 Are you using this as your defense mechanism?
