Thy eyes rage as flames
 There comes the mighty serpent
 Thy command, a vomit of fire
 There comes the serpent in flames
 Rise, serpent of evil
 Thy nose expel smoke

 Thy breath ignites coal
 There comes the serpent in flames

 Bring disgrace over land

 Bring the fire of the end
 Who dares look at him?
 His very sight terrifies
 Abandon all hope

 Who dares against him?
 His strength overpowers heaven
 The folds of his flesh are joined
 They are firm and immovable
 The sword, the spear, the dart, the javelin
 Like chaff to him, he does not flee
 The iron he treats like straw, the bronze like a rotten wood
 Nothing comparable to a chest hard as rock
 He laughs, he roars, he destroys it all
 Nothing is equal to him, a creature without fear
