I look down at the stitches here from our past
 Where the skin and flesh meet my fears
 The sear of the burn is where ive come to y earn
 By not being as close as we'd been
 The different ways of your days aren't the same
 Please show in me how to miss you once again

 In those moments that we were so happy
 So I don't know where you are but I hope you well
 In the sweltering soul beat fluttering I long for you
 To touch in me that all will be a big reward

 In these picture I look back on our happy times
 Only wondering how this could have ever happened
 But I know that I've grown into myself
 And I hope that I can say the same for you
 Upon the lives of our past I cant help but grieve
