In the canyons of death
 Friends lying in a daze
 Silently fighting
 Their way through the haze
 Many unconscious
 To all sight and sound
 Though they lie there unmoving

 The angel descends
 To cool a fever
 To sit there with a friend
 To fill in the void
 When no family is found
 Though they'd never admit it
