Hey sister what's this I hear
 Your good deeds are in arrears
 By now you surely know
 Of earth's aches and backwards flow
 Some bank on just one more war
 Hide behind faith to settle scores
 And in all this righteous zeal
 Seems we've lost our will to feel

 My time is short and my path so long

 Guilt's never been good to me
