Mom and dad aren't doing well
 But that's okay, I got a new backpack (cool)
 The news says everything is underwater
 But I don't care about that
 I'm not so fun to have in class, the teacher says I'm impulsive
 Somebody vandalized the bathroom stall
 And I am the culprit
 I didn't do it, I'm sorry, it was an accident this time
 Don't tell my parents
 I promise, they've got enough up on their minds
 Mom is crying in the car
 We're on our way to get a new mattress (wow)
 The sky is open wide
 I'm not equipped to comprehend its vastness
 I think I'll spend another couple hours staring out the window
 I'm gonna watch "Invader Zim"
 And eat a sandwich when I get home
