Voices of the raving nymphs revive
 Narrating a tale from long ago
 Singing for the charming
 New wed bride on a brightful day of summor
 Through meadows of flowers
 She ran in mirthful hours
 Her laughter disrupted by teeth of venom
 Like crystal, her heart froze
 Before her strained eyes could close
 Silent tears of horror
 On her descending ghost
 She turns her eyes
 She falls, she dies
 His beloved motionless was found
 Mourning forests echoing her name
 Tunes of sorrow played in dreadful sound
 Brought to nature such discomfort
