Slayers of Eden

He, who is, filled with arrogance and spite
 Slithered up to her.
 His tongue speaks
 beautiful deadly filth
 he is the prince of lies.
 Whispers in her ear,
 meant only for deception corruption, and confusion.
 Her heart flutters as butterflies fly
 This is a feeling she has never felt before
 Thoughts race through her head as she reaches for
 The forbidden
 Why is this sweat stinging my eyes?
 Why do I suddenly feel so different?
 Who is this that fills my head with these forbidden words?
 Will I not die?
 I am afraid
 Will I not be burned in the fire?
 Is there no consequence
 To this act of betrayal?
 You will not die.
 It will make you like God.
 He is afraid of you.
 He doesn't want you to be so mighty
 You can be God
 I want to be God
 You can have His power

 What is this you have done?

 Cursed are you above the livestock
 and all the wild animals
 You will crawl on your belly eating dust

 And no longer may the cursed live forever.

 Malice, hate, lust, lies, greed
 Homosexuality, adultery, fornication,
 To betray the father and mother
 And Father who loves us.
 We ALL need the saving grace
 Of the death on the cross
