Things Are Getting Better

Every day's a struggle just to survive
 I look on the world sometime with tears in my eyes

 But how can you be proud of turnin' your head
 When you see little kids on the streets, y'all, beggin' for bread

 They claim this recession is soon gonna end but
 Food prices are higher than they've ever been

 But I can't see it gettin' no better

 Every time a man stands up for what he thinks might be right
