Brigid and Samantha

They were at each other's throats before they were weaned
 And for years, these girls, they plotted and schemed
 Always working for each other's destruction
 Seeing each other as nothing more than an obstruction
 Learning martial arts to kick Brigid's face in
 Brigid fighting back with intimidation
 And no one will forget the deafening thwack
 Of another of Samantha's broomstick attacks
 They had an Earth Day birthday in 1989
 And for five whole minutes Brigid was an only child
 But then Samantha came along and Brigid started to cry
 Because she had to deal with her the rest of her life

 But then as they grew, something changed
 Verbal sparring was the new shooting range
 And as they laughed, they realized
 Maybe this twin thing was a blessing in disguise
 But now Samantha is attending Arcadia
 (A small university in Pennsylvania)
 And Brigid is at school in New Jersey
 Of course they miss each other like crazy
