Simple Man

He should've seen it coming,
 When the love grew old.
 Wife and kids, they left him
 And the house got sold.
 The silence getting louder
 Nightfall comes too soon
 He lost everything, now shooting bullets at the Moon.
 Saw him living with another man
 Two smiling faces
 Walking hand in hand
 When your imagination gets the best of you
 When it's too much to take
 Like from a nightmare you wake
 And a hole in your shoes
 When all is said and done
 Living life on the run
 Does anybody know his name?
 Once he sets out to be free

 And got no one else to blame
