Black Swan

Sailing down the river, boats are passing by
 I'm watching sailors and commanders on their way
 With no home to stay
 They
 Don't see me
 Don't hear me
 And all those
 Rigid heads don't move as I am sailing by
 And my friendly salutations disappear
 So I am looking down and try to hide my face
 I want to chase my feelings – back to private spheres!
 I don't waste a tear
 Troubling doubts come up as I'm moving on
 A voice inside my head keeps saying "get you gone"
 I remember people calling me black swan
 To lead me astray
 Don't hate me
 Don't love me
 Just let me
 Take the stony path to climb a mountain high
 To have a look at what's there on the other side
 To find this kind of place that is well concealed
 Buried under junk and dust to be revealed
 Can't swim with the tide
 Amidst a mass of faces that all look all the same
 I'm feeling like a stranger who's outside the game
 I remember people calling me black swan
 But I don't go astray
 Don't see me
 Don't hear me
 Don't love me
 Don't hate me
 Just let me
 Go
 Between awake and sleep, in the dead of night
 I was surrounded by black water
 White swans with their wings spread wide
 Came quickly close then closer
 They're circling me with rising speed
 No way to move I'm sinking deep
 The ground beneath my feet
 Shakes me out of sleep
 Flee from the waters
 Cause the tide is rising high
 Flee from the waters
