It was August and I had a ton of problems
 A well dressed bum with empty pockets
 And to be honest I don't know how I got there
 One thing just led to the next
 They say everything that you do in this life there's a heaven or hell
 That you make for yourself and man I've learned that again and again
 Thought my ship had sailed I drank myself senseless
 Said I was fine, but I never meant it
 Then you came to save me
