Gift of Grace

I remember the first time we met
 i was living life with deep regret
 but i remember well that sacred place
 where i recieved your precious gift of grace
 The Gift of Grace is free
 to all who choose to come
 to the cross where the father gave his only son
 I'll never understand
 why he loved a common man
 so much he would die in our place
 I'm so thankful for the gift of grace

 I've come limping back to you again
 wounded from the burdens of my sin
 Guiltly and ashamed of my mistakes
 but then you extend your endless gift of grace
