Well I went and did it again
 I went and signed myself one of those dirty old record deals
 Those things are gonna be the death of me
 But I took my money and I made my album
 And I didn't like it much but I kept on going
 And I smiled and I reckon it's time that I break free
 Now I'm going down to get myself a job at a bar, yeah

 If times get hard, we can move back into my grandma's place

 And I can fix up my grandpa's house like I've been meaning to

 So I just thank God for the time I got
