Years passed by in black and white,
 Met by the dark the same cold night,
 Now light shines the whole day through,
 Life came into colour when I met you.
 Folk all hunched and pushing by,
 Soaked as the rain poured from the sky,
 A faded grey but to us bright blue,

 Flowers bloom
 Birds now sing,
 The sun's come out,
 The people drink,
 The good has filled the day we drew,
