Planesong

This plane will never stop
 Taking off, it feels wrong
 My stomach dropping over and over
 Tethered to the ground
 And I just can't stand the sound
 Of this engine humming over and over
 All the people in flight
 Don't seem to mind
 Destined for the stars
 But why is getting there so hard
 I can feel my heart beat over and over
 And from this tiny window my view, it stays the same
 As the pilots play this stupid game
 Seasons keep on changing over and over
 Keep your seatbelt on
 It won't be too long
 Will I reach the end now or ever?
 At least if I fall down it's familiar
 'Cause either I get there or don't
 Those are both things that I know
 It's just the space between the two makes me so confused
 What do I do?
 Maybe I won't
