Zephyr

As you cast off from the shore
 Hoping for a gentle breeze to push you on
 You sever from everything you left behind
 Do you feel alive?
 Did you think that you would ever get this far?
 The tide begins to billow up from below
 Spurs you farther from the bosom of the shore
 The clouds begin darkening up above
 You feel a tempest start to grow
 The wind begins to howl
 The thunder starts lumbering in
 The rain come crashing down
 You're never gonna go back home
 As the tempest presses on
 Eating up the sky above
 You eagerly try to break out of the storm
 Shadows burgeon overhead
 Forging lightning bold and red
 Leaves you clamoring for the refuge of the shore
 The waves keep crashing down
 The water starts to swallow you in
 You remember what you left behind
 You pray the wind will carry you home
