Delusional

This world can look so much different
 When you invent
 A better life inside your head
 The stick in the water's been half wet for years
 I used to think clear now that head never rears
 And all who cared, have slowly disappeared

 From down here the streetlights
 Look like stars that
 Shine from miles away
 Everything that others take for granted
 I cannot attain

 Looking at them all through a distorted eye
 When life is hype
 Enablers pacify
 The counselors' words were all
 Lost
 On these chemical laced thoughts
