LA Doesn't Miss Me

I really used to like spending my days at the beach
 Somethin' bout Santa Monica was home to me
 Felt god it was good for my soul
 Now the water and the people they all feel cold
 From what I posted it looked like I had a lot of good friends
 I got tired of faking it to try and fit in
 It's all about who's dropping your name
 Everyone's living with the fear of being replaced
 I don't get the same buzz driving down the PCH
 Watching the sunset doesn't do anything
 Cause I know I'll hit traffic on the way home
 Probably cry in my car alone
 All the people who said they would always be there
 Found out I was moving
 And now it's like they don't care
 Thank God I'm starting to love Tennessee
 Cause LA doesn't miss me

 Feels like my heart's been broken
 By a boy that I love
 No matter what I change
 I'm never good enough
 Taught me a lot about myself
 But the City of Angels feels more like hell
 Don't get me wrong I love looking at the Hollywood sign
 And there's not much better than Malibu nights
 But Nashville feels more like home
 Haven't lived there long but I already know
