I've heard it said that when a star grows old
 It'll snuggle up, alone and cold
 Waiting for someone to say "hello"
 Or so I was told
 "How very sad", I shouted painfully
 If I could, I'd let you stay with me
 'Cause even stars require empathy
 Shadows roam in lonely ghosts and broken hearts
 But hear when I say, your kingdom is seldom afar

 It's rather ludicrous, but rest assured
 The universe's an open door
 A cosmic retreat beneath my bedroom floor
 With space-like decor
