Vital Emergence

Into the void once again a rift I created condemned to descend
 The rift beneath my feet continues to grow
 The ground gives way and swallows me whole
 Fallen into a chasm of self absorption
 Recesses of the heart losing the ability to sympathize
 The world shrinks down until all that's left is my reflection
 What will I find?
 No greed no material possession no artificial bliss
 Will deliver me from this place
 I'll sacrifice it all to feel beyond myself
 This is a vital emergence a resurrection of purpose
 As I rise to the height of my being
