I've lost track of the time and so have all my friends
 Spending winters reflecting the summer just to feel warm again
 I've learned my lesson the hard way
 And taught myself to set aside
 All the sure things and certainties
 That were promised in my life
 I'd rather crawl where I belong
 Than live a life I didn't earn
