Heathens' Embrace

"I bid you welcome my heathen, to take your place within the Nightmare's Reef.
 Be aware that you will now sell your soul and your face, for the heathens' embrace."
 "Stay focused and clear... As the ravenous daggers of brethrens' own make, always ready to tear..."
 How this voice grates upon my ears as a vision of a dark man appears.
 Shades of sin covers this being but his face should be torchlit and clear.
 Once outside this thief hearted fortress, now my casual abode.
 The reverence is mine as the legends speak so, of the Reef as both cunning and cold.
 Comes to me after months in this place, that a raid plan is made
 This soveriegn of shadows determined to be the soul heir of every race
 An heretic invasion, a madman's creation, prospers in soul eating blows.
 Now his demon wings, made to embrace, swallowing all harvested souls.
 Elders once again fear that the Ravenfield battles draw near
 Nevermore the sun will lighten these fields if the time of prosperity flees.
 Now my part of this play must be over, as I draw my sheathed blade.
 And the fight, as he perceives my betrayal, bursts out into a dancing display.
