The dreamy-eyed thralls
 Coiled in bitter angst
 Torn and broken
 Frayed with neurosis
 All too human

 I ate the shadows, the fumes, the mist
 With tertullian zeal I consume my gloomy fare
 And after each montanist ecstasy
 I fell astray and lost the golden bough
 Horrors conceived for mankind of old
 Brute skeletons surround me here
 The dead men's bones in smoke and mould
 In the currents of life in action's storm
 A stygian depth
 A miasmic shroud
 Metousiosis flame
 The solitude of deranged
 All too human
 The dreamy-eyed thralls

 Fragile mind consumes its gloomy fare
 Many have claimed the throne of God
